2021 Holiday Caroling

This year third and seventh graders banded together to share the holiday spirit. Practicing Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and Have a Merry Christmas with Dean Bratton, our students worked hard to showcase the holiday songs to our school community.

On Tuesday, 12/21/21, we visited the Fire station and Senior Center. On Wednesday, 12/22/21, we visited the John Croaker Daycare center and the Annex Building to spread the holiday cheer.

Juneteenth

Happy Freedom Friday for our Juneteenth celebration!

"President Biden signed a bill establishing June 19 as Juneteenth National Independence Day, a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is now the 11th federal holiday!

Although we are celebrating freedom, let's continue to commit to the fight for racial justice in all aspects of American life. Freedom has impacted my life because as a child of immigrants, I had opportunities that my parents did not have which has shaped my appreciation for education.

Freedom for me means opportunity."
